Work Location: Hybrid - Woonsocket, RI (Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office)
Travel: Up to 15% for supplier meetings and site visits
Reports to: Lead Director, Strategic Sourcing & Category ManagementPosition Summary
The Strategic Sourcing Analyst plays a critical role in executing sourcing events and supporting category management for indirect products and services. This includes categories under Enterprise Operations such as Facilities, Supply Chain, and other operational services. The role supports over $2.4B in annual spend across CVS Health's enterprise units with over 7,400 active contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute RFx events (RFPs, RFQs, negotiations) for Enterprise Operations categories.
- Provide analytical support to category leaders on sourcing initiatives.
- Support category management activities: expiring contract reviews, pipeline development, opportunity assessments.
- Compile scope of work and requirements, analyze vendor proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Present quantitative and qualitative analysis to leadership for business award decisions.
- Communicate Strategic Sourcing's value proposition to internal stakeholders.
- Assist with project tracking, meeting documentation, and communication support.

- 1-3 years of experience in Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement or Analytics.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts).
- Experience with Ariba or with a similar e-procurement software platform.
- Enterprise mindset and self-starting mentality.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to expand responsibilities.
- MBA preferred.
Bachelor's degree required (preferred majors: Management, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting). Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
