CVS Health is transforming digital healthcare by building cohesive, scalable platform solutions that enable smarter, simpler, and more human-centered experiences. We're seeking full stack engineers to design, build, and deploy end to end platform capabilities consumed via an API layer from multiple front ends.We are looking for a Staff seasoned software engineers that have experience delivering in a connected ecosystem, collaborating across teams, delivering in a product model, and willing to push the envelope in terms of new techniques and tools.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end to end platform capabilities that can be called via an API and are fully executed via automation
  • Platform capabilities consist of valuable functions that would reside on a VM or container, e.g. databases, web/app servers, migration automation, tooling, etc.
  • Buildout of API Layer to aggregate access to platform capabilities
  • Coding permissions providing privileges and access to platform capabilities
  • Integrating image automation and agents into API Layer for consistency and quality
  • Partner with different Access Layer front ends so customers can consume automation through API Layer
  • Strategize to determine which automation should reside in which Access Layer
  • Mature to orchestration of platform capabilities enabling the organization to be opinionated in which capabilities are available based on Vibrancy, or DDAT technology strategy
  • Modernization and migration scripts for adoption of modern technologies and supporting retirement of legacy
  • Tools integration into CI/CD pipelines for data behavior tracking and improvement
  • End to end testing and tier 4 support for products/capabilities delivered
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience with front end and back-end technologies
  • At least 5 years of experience building APIs
  • Experience using Jira, Agile and Product Methodologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge on AI Concepts and Tools
  • Thorough understanding CI/CD and data pipelines
  • Understanding of correct engineering data behaviors
  • Experience with Infrastructure automation scripting
  • Effective collaborator across teams
  • Excellent communicator
  • Self-driven to continuously learn new concepts and technologies
EDUCATION

The typical pay range for this role is:$106,605.00 - $213,210.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
