- Develop and maintain cloud architecture and infrastructure as code ( IaC ) using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
- Deploy applications and services on GCP, ensuring high availability and performance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates
- Monitor and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and networking components
- Set up monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance and health of cloud applications and infrastructure
- Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to manage costs effectively
- Automate cloud operations and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools
- Implement security best practices for cloud resources, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and network
- 3+ years of experience with cloud engineering ( e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, other DevOps tools)
- 3+ years experience /familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools
- 3+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages and with data structures/algorithms
- 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining , and/ or launching software products
- 1 + year of experience with software design and architecture
- Knowledge of Java, Python, Spring, Spark, and/or SQL
- Experience with ETL/ d ata p ipeline and o rchestration tools ( e.g. Cloud C omposer, Cloud D ata F usion, Dataflow and Dataproc )
- Any of the following certification s : Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional DevOps Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar
- 1 year of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience
The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
