Designs, develops, and implements enterprise software solutions with a focus on SAP technologies. Applies advanced technical skills to build high-performance applications, ensure system stability, and deliver reliable interfaces. Works closely with cross-functional teams to test, debug, and enhance digital solutions while contributing to the continuous improvement of enterprise-wide SAP systems. Develops AI-enabled automation solutions that combine SAP expertise with modern AI capabilities to improve efficiency and optimize business processes.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality features that power business applications in the SAP BTP ABAP environment and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Build solutions using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), ensuring adherence to Clean Core principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities to Design and implement AI-driven automation solutions within SAP environments.
  • Develop and optimize ABAP programs, enhancements, CDS views, AMDP, and OData services.
  • Implement performance tuning and HANA-optimized logic for financial and reporting applications.
  • Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles by minimizing custom code in the S/4HANA core.
  • Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with RAP-based services.
  • Conduct comprehensive unit tests, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high reliability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including functional/technical specifications and interface designs.
  • Collaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions.
  • Leverages advanced programming skills to design and implement complex features, optimize performance, and ensure code efficiency.
  • Integrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamless communication and interoperability between different parts of the digital solution.
  • Writes and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging, and troubleshoots issues to ensure the reliability, stability, and high quality of digital solutions.
  • Work in cross functional areas like Finance, Retail, Group Reporting and Allocations in PAPM
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily standups, contributing to project milestones.
  • Participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of digital projects.
  • Explores new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevant documentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with team members, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration.
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years work experience in Software Engineering and SAP Environments
  • Exposure to SAP BDC, SAP BTP (AI Core/Launchpad) and SAP Integrations.
  • Good knowledge on SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) and SAP Signavio
  • Well versed in SAP ILM and Data Archiving
  • Strong understanding of SAP Joule
  • Strong expertise in ABAP RAP, CDS Views, BOPF, and OData services.
  • Experience in SAP S4/HANA (On premise and Cloud) and Fiori.
  • Solid understanding of Clean Core architecture and extensibility options.
  • Strong conceptual understanding on SAP Analytics Cloud/Business Data Cloud
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with agile software development methodologies is often preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is valued.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $185,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
