Manages day-to-day operations of the technical support team, ensuring efficient service to end users. Leads team of managers and/or supervisors in processes including documenting solutions, contributing to knowledge bases, and analyzing incident trends to improve processes and enhance user experience for our clinics and its remote personnel.What you will do
- Oversees multiple regional technical support teams that maintain the technology infrastructure, systems, and equipment used to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions caused by technology-related issues.
- Manages the day-to-day operations directly and indirectly of field technicians who provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services including hiring and training staff, setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to ensure a high level of service.
- Administers equipment deployments and upgrades, manages issue resolution, and drives continuous improvement in field tech operations.
- Oversees maintenance and support programs of the technology infrastructure in field locations including network equipment, servers, point-of-sale systems, hardware devices, and other relevant technology assets.
- Coordinates installation activities with the IT department to ensure timely upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities are performed to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Ensures resolution of technical issues and coordinates with other IT teams or external vendors to address complex or critical problems.
- Develops training materials and documentation to educate field staff on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures for technology systems and equipment.
- Collaborates with various stakeholders and business units to understand their IT-related needs and provide proactive solutions or recommendations.
- Evaluates workflow efficiencies and identifies opportunities for improvement to enhance support services and optimize field tech operations.
- Responsible for development of junior leaders and training programs for field technicians
- Responsible for expense review and approvals
- 7 years work experience of which 3 minimum must be at management level
- Experience managing managers or supervisors
- Experience with standard project management practices
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills
- Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) preferred.
- Previous experience leading multi-region team
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
