Provides leadership for a team of software development engineers by offering guidance, mentorship, and establishing performance objectives aligned with organizational goals. Develops comprehensive strategies for software development projects, including defining project requirements, establishing timelines, and setting deliverables to ensure efficient execution. Oversees risk assessment processes, resolve production issues, evaluate resource availability, and implement timely solutions to minimize operational disruptions.Ensures adherence to industry's best practices, quality standards, and current trends within the department. Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams-such as product managers and business stakeholders-to align priorities, address conflicts, and maintain strong working relationships. Investigates and assesses emerging software technologies, methodologies, and industry developments, leveraging innovative solutions and integrating optimal practices.Delivers expert technical direction, makes informed decisions, and provides support to the team in overcoming complex challenges. Conduct thorough performance evaluations and cultivate a collaborative work environment that encourages continuous professional growth.As part of the AT Claim Organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of software developers supporting our Claim applications. The Claim Organization is accountable for CVS Health's Health Care Benefits division (Aetna) commercial claim processing and the surrounding ecosystem of commercial claim applications to support internal business operations and the external Member and Provider experience.Required Qualifications

- 5+ years including 2+ years' experience of leading projects or managing directs
- Experience with healthcare claim administration.
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
- Adept at business intelligence.
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
- Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Software Engineering Master Certification (SEMC)
- Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
The typical pay range for this role is:$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
