As a Senior Manager within the Specialty Manufacturer Account Management team, you will focus on delivering superior service with operational, project management, reporting, and metric tracking solutions to Specialty manufacturer customers and the broader Specialty Manufacturer Account Services department.In this role, you will be responsible for working on and leading strategic and tactical projects for assigned accounts and CVS Health project initiatives. You will lead various Account Management initiatives with the focus on enhancing services and implementing process improvements on items we provide to our manufacturer customers. You will manage a group of Account Managers that support the therapy centric pod as they support other manufacturers.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Maintaining customer focus
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key manufacturer customers and internal department stakeholders (including Specialty Trade, Clinical Management, Specialty Operations, Enterprise Analytics and Specialty Pharma Reporting, Prescriber Sales, Coram and others) to fully align on customer and market needs
  • Developing and implementing effective and strategic business process improvements specific to your customers and applicable to the account management team as a whole
  • Managing activities to secure product access, gain incremental market share, conduct business reviews, and design/deliver enhanced services driving improved outcomes
  • Delivering market leading products
  • Leading cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and ongoing delivery of Specialty programs, as well as driving root cause analysis and resolution when issues arise
  • Developing and executing business plans which will deliver programs beyond industry standards to improve patient care and accelerate market share growth
  • Identifying enterprise accomplishments specific to the represented product/market and executable partnership opportunities, and creating customer-facing presentations that clearly represent these
  • Collaborating with your internal team
  • Providing guidance and mentoring for other Account Management team members to drive overall improvement in skill set supporting service delivery to our customers
  • Identifying and implementing departmental best practices to ensure your team's success
  • Fostering teamwork and a supportive department culture with an emphasis on ensuring exceptional customer service
To be successful in this role, you will utilize your skills of networking within the organization, navigating effectively, and holding others accountable to delivering on customer commitments, as well as managing customer expectations. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, so the ability to operate independently and make key decisions is imperative. As a Senior Manager within Specialty Manufacturer Account Management, you will develop and implement strategic solutions while partnering with Specialty Trade and other departments across the enterprise to provide pharmaceutical manufacturers with services that differentiate CVS Health as the premier Specialty Pharmacy provider.Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Specialty Pharmacy, Account Management or related industry experience required
  • 3+ years experience leading direct reports or equivalent job experience
  • Proficient with MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 15% is required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and confidence to present to and interact with senior leadership and large audiences of clinical professionals, executives and customers
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service skills through execution with accuracy, responsiveness, reliability and professionalism on every interaction, often times with tight timelines.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
Education

Bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent work experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
