Sr. Manager, Talent Project Manager

As a Senior Talent Project Manager, you will be a key driver of success in our Talent Management organization overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of diverse projects. Your role encompasses coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints. From initiation to closure, you will be responsible for effective communication, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.You will accomplish this by:
- Leading end-to-end project management for talent management initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines
- Developing comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budget, resources, and deliverables
- Collaborating with and motivating cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Overseeing project execution, monitor progress, and proactively address issues to keep project on track
- Identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive management of challenges that may arise during the project
- Facilitating regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones and addressing concerns and inquires
- Implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes to deliver projects that meet or exceed established standards
- Managing project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met while making cost-effective decision
- Quickly and effectively addressing issues or obstacles that may impact project progress, implementing solutions to keep project on track
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, reports, and post-project evaluations
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, incorporating lessons learned into the future projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- 7+ years of experience in HR, operations, project management, or a related field
- 3+ years of project management/program experience
- Certification in Project Management (PMP)
- Ability to travel up to 10-15% (including plane)
- Ability to adapt to change project requirements, unforeseen challenges and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, evaluate options and make informed decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation skills to navigate conflicting priorities, resolve issues, and reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Human Resources (HRCI/SHRM)
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitutePay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
