In this role, you will be the BPO (Business Product Owner) of the Computational Engine which is an application that is part of a broader project to modernize CVS Health's prescription pricing model. This project is vital to the success of the Underwriting transformation initiative driving profitability across the Enterprise.As a Sr. Manager, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for supporting the design and implementation of logic that underlies the Profit & Loss statement within the new Underwriting model. You will be responsible for leading discovery and solutioning exercises for new features as well as ensuring proper implementation of those initiatives by the technical teams.In this role, you will not only be involved in development of business logic, but you will also support UAT efforts. As the key business decision maker on this product, you will work with the QA teams to outline testing parameters and provide final review and sign-off of features. Finally, you will leverage your knowledge of the business and the product to assist with live client support ensuring integrity of the financial results used by leaders and decision makers.This is a unique role as you will have ownership over the logic and development of significant pieces of the new Underwriting model. This role will work closely with a variety of individuals across the enterprise including business leaders, other product owners, technical teams, and business SMEs to drive product development. In addition, this role will be asked to support adhoc financial analyses to support various initiatives such as assumption development and model validation. Being able to communicate and partner with a wide variety of audiences will be a key skill needed to be successful in this role.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of analytical, actuarial or underwriting experience
- 1+ years of PBM experience
- 4+ years actuarial experience
- Extensive PBM and/or Healthcare experience
- Financial modeling experience
- Experience working with IT and Scrum methodology
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units within a complex organization
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; Ability to convey complex topics in clear and concise terms.
- Experience prioritizing work and communicating in a manner that is clear, logical, consistent, and effective
- Innovative mindset and ability to work outside of established boundaries
- Results oriented with ability to keep others on task to meet defined goals
- Experience developing complex financial solutions and working with technical audience to ensure proper implementation
- Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or other data related fields
- Experience working in a dynamic environment with continually evolving priorities
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required
- FSA (Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries) or ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) preferred
The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
