And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Informatics to Apply statistical techniques and health informatics principles to enhance healthcare data analytics solutions and develop trend reporting for CVS Health business units. Duties include: analyze business requirements and interpret statistical data for analytics initiatives in support of business objectives; collaborate with the data science team to integrate algorithms and data models into automated processes, and build data marts and data models to support internal customers; design data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; develop, build and manage large-scale data structures, pipelines and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and addresses reporting needs; write ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing that improve existing systems and expand capabilities; identity data trends and factors impacting critical capabilities, and determine appropriate statistical methods based on user needs; utilize programming languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems, "big data" platforms including Hadoop, Azure, GCP, or Spark, and knowledge of Hadoop architecture and HDFS commands to design and optimize queries to build data pipelines; design conformed, aggregated, and semantic data layers, and manipulate large datasets to support analytics insights using SQL, BTEQ, SAS, and similar tools; integrate data from a variety of sources and compare modeling techniques using statistical performance metrics and recommend improvements; structure data analysis to drive analytics insights and help data scientists determine the best solutions; visualize, interpret, and report data findings to internal clients and leadership; collaborate with teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide usable information to develop analytics solutions using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices; build high performance data processing frameworks leveraging cloud and/or on-premise data platform; analyze and synthesize data to inform reporting dashboards and meet descriptive/predictive/prescriptive analytic requirements; support modeling/diagramming and build design specifications for data objects and surrounding data processing logic; participate in proof of concepts to build the data layers and concepts to derive analytical insights; integrate data from a variety of sources and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards; and consult on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business strategy and technical tradeoffs relevant to big data environment. Multiple positions.Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or employment experience in each of the following: Data analytics on large data sets; Marketing data analysis; Visualization tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, or Enlight; SQL or SAS; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; Version Control System: GitLab, Vault, or Code Promotion Tool; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Data warehousing; Big Data implementation; and Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives.Pay Range: $104645.00/year to $104645.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
