Signify Client Analytics Corporate Intern - Summer 2024

Position Summary

This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that provides real work experience with a team in your business area. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.

The Summer 2024 program will run June 3rd - August 9th, 2024. Virtual onboarding activities will also take place May 29th -31st, 2024.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the following office locations: Hartford, CT. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. No housing or housing stipend will be provided, but interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired.

The hourly rate is $23/hr with 40 hours/ week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.

The Signify Home and Community Services Analytics team works as liaisons between our clients and the client success team to ensure we are satisfying client business needs and requests. We operate as a healthcare solutions team. Through deep knowledge of our clients' goals, target performance, and obligations this role connects our clients' needs with our product and processes. This role supports the client through the entire life cycle, and drives clients' ability to bring care home through flawless execution, critical thinking and care for our mission and vision.

Examples of internship projects include:

Tracking down causes of data discrepancies in regular reporting

Project manage tickets with analytics and data teams

Provide summaries of current reporting to client services teams

Categorization of SLA (Service Line Agreement) requirements, inclusive of the feasibility of automation

Reporting on analytics and data team performance on addressing the team's tickets

Perform time studies of specific data/reporting requests

Develop business analysis and data-driven initiatives in the area of reporting, data extracts, quality management, requirements documentation and support as well as collaborating with business team members and stakeholders.

Gather information about a given initiative or project, review the critical data elements, develop documentation that describes data extracts, data ingestion and reporting-related processes and document data quality-related work items.

Partner with Client Success on new and existing reporting and data extract functionality, as well as rules regarding the processing of data.

Assist with coordinating technical information between the client and various technology teams by ensuring technology requests align with client business requirements by gathering requirements for custom development and reporting.

Track our performance against commitments to our clients, specifically SLAs

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Required Qualifications

Meet educational requirements (see education section)

Have a willingness to relocate to Hartford, CT

Preferred Qualifications

Coding language experience with SQL

Coding language experience with MFT Managed File Transfer

Experience with basic and some advanced Microsoft Excel functions

Project management experience

Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects

Strong organizational skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Internship or work experience in related field such as business or healthcare

Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation

Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree

Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2024 and August 2025

Have a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position such as Business, Analytics, Economics, or Computer Science or related
