Senior Technician, Packing - B Shift

As a Senior Packing Technician, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 30-60 colleagues in a positive manner while managing the required daily operational functions of the back-end mail pharmacy. Build a strong team through training and developing talent in new and tenured colleagues. Perform weekly quality audits and review procedural errors and production rates with the members of your team. Utilize your strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver positive and constructive feedback in a professional manner. Conduct weekly five-minute meetings with colleagues to communicate company information. Participate in vertical conference calls to discuss process changes and improvements. Evaluate both the workload and talent daily to maximize production and output.Mostly importantly, the Senior Technician will be an extension of the Wilkes-Barre Pharmacy management team, projecting the company values of Caring, Innovation, Collaboration, Integrity and Accountability.The schedule for the position is:
Sunday 2:00pm to 12:30am
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3:00pm to 1:30am
Please note that the schedule indicated below may be adjusted or modified based on business needs.Required Qualifications
- Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy
- The ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift to 40 pounds
- Ability to read and understand English
- Schedule flexibility for testing support including early starts, late stays and weekend support
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals (including the ability to calculate dosages and days' supply prescriptions
- Positive attitude.
- Excellent communication, Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint with ease and efficiency
- If internal, at least 6 months in current role and in good standing
- A verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required

The typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
