Senior SOC Engineer
CO Salary Range: USD 92,700.00 - 185,400.00 per year

This individual will serve as a technical expert, combining deep engineering skills with analytical capabilities to investigate security alerts, develop automated solutions, and improve overall team performance.'
Required Qualifications
- 5+ total years of experience in either an IT Help Desk or SOC style role.
- 3+ years of experience in at least one or more programming languages relevant to the job description is crucial. This might include languages like Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, Go, Rust, etc. The specific languages will vary greatly by role.
- 2+ years of experience with networking concepts & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience with various identity and access management / authentication concepts and technologies
- Problem-Solving: Software development is largely about solving problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Communication: Effective communication is crucial for collaborating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Most software projects are team efforts. The ability to work effectively in a team is vital.
- Adaptability: The tech landscape is constantly evolving. Adaptability to new technologies and methodologies is important.
- Time Management: The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines is crucial.
- Self-Learning: Software developers need to be constantly learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies.
- Ability to collect data from disparate systems in order to correlate and perform data analysis

- Provide evidence of or obtain one or more certifications, including but not limited to Network+, Security+, CySA+, CCSP, CCSK, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, GSEC, CEH, CISSP, AWS, Blue Team Level 1 or 2, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer or equivalent

The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $185,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
