You will work with a collaborative, close-knit team on pharmacy and member specific claims data including, but not limited to, financial and operational information supporting state and federal compliance reporting. You will be responsible for standard and ad-hoc client and regulatory Prompt Pay and Pharmacy Payment Compliance reporting using SQL and SAS. You will continuously improve quality controls and accuracy of reported data, looking for ways to further automate reporting activities. New team members are onboarded with training in this niche data set, and the team is highly collaborative.
You will report to the Senior Reporting Manager within the Compliance Pharmacy Payments team. To be successful in this role, you need to have solid SQL skills, be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail, and be a team player with a strong drive for fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop reports in SQL and SAS.
- Review MCO/Client Requests with internal and external partners to translate them into clear business requirements
- Build relationships with Account Teams, Legal, Compliance, Client Audit, Finance Operations, and others, by providing reporting leadership representation.
- Continuously evaluate/evolve processes, best practices, and tools around data, reporting, and automation.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of the deliverables, applying high standards for quality control to all reporting and analytic work. Ensure consistent and clear documentation for production-ready reporting solutions.
- Handle, communicate, and escalate issues (as needed) in a timely manner so as not to impact delivery
- Lead by example to inspire a positive attitude, engagement, and professional growth.
- Proactively lead reporting & automation activities, tracking completion of action items, resolving issues, and mitigating risk
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.
- Build end-to-end data solutions from ETL to analytical presentation
- Proven experience in building data processes and solutions
- Constantly work to understand data structures and their business context
- Negotiate and document requirements, agreements and changes with business users
- 2+ years of experience supporting reporting, analytics, or automation projects.
- 2+ years of experience writing scripts in SQL and/or SAS.
- Experience with any of these a plus: Python, R, Alteryx, Trifacta, Linux OS, GCP/ AWS/ Azure.
- Experience working with medical and/or pharmacy claims data.
- Experience in healthcare industry, including health insurance, PBM or pharmacy services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Master's degree preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
