The Senior Paralegal performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of the organization's attorneys. Conducts legal research, drafts legal documents, and performs other related duties.This role requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, integrity, self-direction, excellent drafting skills, and working in an individual capacity or as part of a team. The individual should be a strong communicator with the ability to build trusting relationships and possess an understanding of how to accomplish objectives both directly and through influence in other areas of the business.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Completes daily case management tasks, including organizing and saving key case correspondence, pleadings, discovery, expert materials, and documentation.
-Identifies opportunities to assist with strategic planning for the legal department, including budgeting, selecting, and managing outside vendors.
-Drafts, edits, fact-checks, conforms, and otherwise assists in the preparation of legal documents under limited supervision by attorneys.
-Analyzes and prepares deposition files, assisting with the preparation, filing, and submission of critical legal briefs.
-Conducts statutory, regulatory, and factual research with respect to legal matters.
-Attends hearings for the production of witness and expert binders, exhibits, and demonstratives.
-Applies in-depth knowledge facilitating the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of paralegal documents and key submissions.
-Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in paralegal techniques and processes.
-Ensures all relevant legal proceedings are fully documented in the company database.Required Qualifications
3+ years of Paralegal and/or Contract Administrator experience.
3+ years of experience with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Paralegal/Certified Legal Assistant (CP/CLA) preferred.
Education
Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent related experience required. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$34.66 - $76.26This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
