Supervisor: Lead Director Enterprise Network EngineeringPosition Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our Enterprise Network Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Cisco network configurations and a passion for network engineering. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining network configurations and implementations. The Network Engineer will also be responsible for defining best practices around the network, scripting configuration code changes to ensure our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and adaptable to evolving business needs.Specific Functions/Activities SUMMARY:

  • Configure and manage Cisco networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Serve as a L3 escalation Engineer to assist in Troubleshoot network issues.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools for enhancing network automation capabilities.
  • Ensure all network activities are compliant with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in network engineering and network integration.
  • Experience using Cisco wireless technologies and deploying Cisco access points in a campus network environment.
  • Experience using 7Signal technologies and deploying 7Signal eyes in a campus network environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3-5 years of enterprise network engineering implementation and some design experience - applicant must be "hands on keyboard" with the ability to technically explain solution concepts and intangibles.
  • Worked at a major large organization supporting complex networks with absolute fault tolerance in mind.
  • Hands on experience deploying various tool sets which support monitoring and alerting across diverse platforms - has integration experience working with event correlation platforms and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
  • 3-5 years' experience leading diverse project teams
  • At least 3-5 years of working with enterprise systems platforms such as compute, storage, data centers and automation
  • Experience with advanced network engineering solutions utilizing various product platforms such as Cisco, NetBrain and NetScout.
  • Must be fluent in all aspect of network security and security elements - designs networks with proper controls and governance from conception to execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or computer engineering is preferred or relevant experience
Supervision:
  • Role is an individual contributor role but may lead to supporting complex project teams and be required to work with Distinguished Engineers, Technical Leads and Network Operations Engineers working in a matrix role.
Special requirements of the job:
  • The candidate selected will have to travel several times throughout the year to other business locations.
  • Cisco training and certifications highly desirable
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
