And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position SummaryThe Sr Manager Information Governance and Privacy will support privacy operations and legal counsel in assessing the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies across the enterprise. This person will be responsible for working with stakeholders to analyze, research, document, manage, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and governance frameworks pertaining to AI and new technology in accordance with state law and regulatory guidelines. Previous experience in privacy and working with AI is preferred.This person should be knowledgeable about the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the regulatory and industry standards related to AI. A strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and Generative AI are a plus.This person will work closely with Legal, Information, Data and AI Governance, Procurement, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment on AI governance and data privacy matters. This will involve assisting in the review and compliance of internal policies, standards, and guidelines for the ethical and responsible development, deployment, and use of AI and other emerging technologies.The role will include providing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on AI-related legal and regulatory requirements, privacy analysis and data use, contract and third party reviews, and reviewing and analyzing emerging laws, regulations, and industry practices related to AI and data privacy.Primary duties and responsibilities:

-Perform information governance, privacy and AI management
- Collaborate and assist in compliance of internal policies, standards, and procedures addressing the ethical and responsible use of AI within a HIPAA-compliant framework.
- Track legislation, maintain program documentation, support the development of privacy and AI operational processes.
- Provide business teams support on the development of new technologies and data use
- Support legal counsel with privacy and AI reviews.
-Must be comfortable with being empowered to make difficult decisions that potentially impact business project development and direction.
- Must be able to prioritize appropriately, and multi-task on high priority and high impact projects.Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience.
5+ years of a combination of knowledge of privacy, AI, and data governance standards.
5+ years of relevant experience in privacy law, compliance, or AI with knowledge of U.S. privacy laws and regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA.
The ability to travel up to 10%.Preferred Qualifications
CISA, CISM, CCSFP, PCI ISA, CIPP, CIPT, CIPM.
Knowledge of AI industry requirements and regulations, including NYDFS and NAIC.
Education
Bachelors degree required or equivalent years of relevant experience.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$75,400.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
