Senior Manager, Data Visualization & Product Delivery

The Senior Manager of Data Visualization is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-impact visualization products using tools such as Tableau and other BI platforms. In this role you'll lead a team of developers to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that drive operational insights and decision-making. You will also define the future vision for visualization tools, ensuring solutions are scalable, user-centric, and aligned with evolving business needs.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for data visualization platforms to meet current and future business challenges.
- Champion user-driven design principles to ensure tools are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform platform evolution and innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Tableau and BI developers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage resource allocation, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of dashboards and reports for operational use across the organization.
- Ensure visualization products meet quality, usability, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including internal database experts, data engineering, business operations, and IT.
- Establish and enforce best practices for dashboard development, user access, data governance, and security.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards and regulatory requirements.

- 7+ years of experience in data visualization, BI tools, or analytics, with 3+ of those years being in a people leader role.
- Expertise in Tableau and other BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
- Strong understanding of data architecture, SQL, ETL processes, and operational reporting.
- Experience in healthcare, retail, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
- Agile project management experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
The typical pay range for this role is:$75,400.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
