Senior Manager Data Forecast Product Owner

This role is a Product Owner of the application supporting our pricing operations teams. This tool is vital to the success of a transformational underwriting initiative to drive profitability across the enterprise.
As a Sr Manager you will be the subject matter expert responsible for supporting the design, strategy, and build of foundational data forecasting tools to support PBM pricing and underwriting functions. You will be tasked with developing a deep understanding of the business and business needs to ensure analytical requirements are accurately captured, communicated to key stakeholders, and prioritized appropriately on the project roadmap. This will include prioritization between development, new pricing strategies, and existing capability enhancements. You will support business validation testing and be responsible for performing overall data integrity checks using applications such as Databricks, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau. Finally, you will assist with live client pricing support as well as training underwriting on how to use this information to develop their pricing strategy.
This is a unique role that leverages the ability to combine business and technology acumen to operate as a leader and detail-oriented expert. The role will work closely with the leader of the ecosystem, product owners, and IT colleagues to facilitate a strong relationship to bring the vision and strategy to life through clear prioritization and value proposition for Underwriting. You will be accountable for supporting the development team and users to facilitate resolution, communication, and training on fully tested solutions to meet the business needs.Responsibilities
Manage, organize, and prioritize underwriting feedback and capabilities in the product roadmap Leverage deep understanding of the business to ensure analytical requirements are accurately captured and communicated to key stakeholders Complete user acceptance testing and assist with QA to minimize live production defects in the tool Owner of the Data Forecast Mart (DFM) product roadmap with real-time backlog management, ensuring stakeholder alignment and visibility throughout the year Develop controls and standard operating procedures to create efficiency and structure within the application Work with a broad range of functions to ensure assumptions used in modeling are consistent with current best estimates of the business Drive reporting and training needs for downstream business partners Ensure cross-functional alignment across both legacy and new applications to ensure consistencyThis role may be located out of our offices in Northbrook, IL, Scottsdale, AZ or Woonsocket, RI. - 7+ years of project management, analytical experience (excel, Tableau)
- 5+ years of professional work experience in PBM/healthcare industry
- 3+ years experience, either directly or indirectly managing a team and coaching and mentoring a diverse group of colleagues
- Coding experience (SQL, SAS, or Python)
- Experience working with IT and Scrum methodology
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units within a complex organization
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Experience prioritizing work and communicating in a manner that is clear, logical, consistent, and effective
- Innovative mindset and ability to work outside of established boundaries
- Results oriented with ability to keep others on task to meet defined goals
- Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or other data related fields
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
