Seeking an experienced Strategic Projects Senior Manager with excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, and project management skills.

The Customer Experience Strategic Projects Senior Manager is responsible for managing projects that drive value to CVS Health customers and businesses. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Customer Experience Strategy, and with various business partners across the Customer Experience COE to develop and execute strategies that support COE priorities and advance customer centricity across the enterprise.

Common tasks include developing and managing project plans, maintaining strategic scorecards, coordinating with stakeholders on RFPs, managing budgets, reporting to key stakeholders, managing project risks, and providing strategic decision support.

Primary Job Responsibilities include:
Lead projects that drive customer, CE-COE and enterprise value (strategic priorities, RFPs, budget management).
  • Develop and execute project plans.
  • Partner with internal teams to manage data gathering and analysis.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to report progress and escalate issues.
  • Influence outcomes by making recommendations.
Prepare executive-level communications to drive a customer-centric narrative across the enterprise.
  • Report progress against critical milestones.
  • Inform various internal and enterprise scorecards to drive accountability.
Provide strategic decision support.
  • Apply sound business strategy principles to frame issues and opportunities.
  • Clearly communicate opportunities and trade-offs to support decision makers.


Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management or communication experience, preferably in the healthcare space
  • 5 years of overall relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management/ strategy consulting experience is a plus.
  • MBA, MPA, or advanced Finance or Medical degree.
  • A strategic mindset, familiarity with strategic business frameworks, and an ability to connect insights across a variety of data sources and link them to the operational and financial realities of the business.
  • Comfortable and experienced in working with and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Independent project management skills: strong attention to detail and ability to proactively manage multiple priorities simultaneously (often about different subjects).
  • Compelling communication and storytelling skills, including communication of insights and recommendations both in writing and verbal presentations in a digestible manner that is actionable to the business.
  • A growth mindset that includes the ability to accept and act upon feedback.
  • Curiosity about our customers and a desire to drive a better and richer understanding of our customers and their needs deeper into the organization.
  • Experience studying and/ or influencing customer, patient, or member experience.
  • Adept at building relationships and influencing others without formal authority.
  • PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and data visualization skills that result in compelling, professional presentations.
  • Experience working with or for health plans.
  • Experience working with or for retail organizations.
  • Experience working in a complex organization across a variety of stakeholder groups.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
