Senior Manager, Business Compliance, Washington & Oregon Remote

As the Senior Manager, Business Compliance, you will be responsible for managing the regulatory and compliance requirements for Washington State and Oregon. You will serve as the subject matter expert for all WA and OR requirements. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) and Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS). Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages multiple complex regulatory interactions including drafting regulatory correspondence and responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Designs, develops, and implements compliance strategies that align with the Market's business priorities and regulatory obligations.
- Promotes a culture of compliance by delivering targeted education and training, fostering awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and risk categories.
- Interacts with state regulatory bodies and maintains collaborative working relationships with state regulators. Serves as a primary point of contact for state regulatory compliance matters.
- Investigates allegations of unethical behavior, recommends corrective actions, and develops safeguards to prevent future breaches.
- Ensures that compliance practices are integrated into operational decision-making and risk management processes across the market.
- Provides oversight of or prepares complex regulatory reports, filings and follow-ups, manages complex regulatory review, and may assist with auditing and delegation oversight efforts.
- Builds and maintains positive, productive relationships with internal and external constituents at all organizational levels, and effectively communicates, removes barriers, drives decision-making and influences ethical and compliant outcomes at appropriate levels necessary to accomplish goals.
- Appropriately informs and escalates matters to senior management.
- Independently collects facts and utilizes strong analytical capabilities to recommend appropriate actions on complex matters and effectively communicates status and results in a concise and timely manner.
- Responds to complex requests for information within area of responsibility from internal and external constituents. Identifies needs and acts as resource for colleagues and effectively guides teams to accomplish complex goals.
- Adapts to shifting strategic priorities and drives the implementation of both tactical and strategic solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years of prior relevant work experience in compliance or regulatory position
- Healthcare industry knowledge and experience
- Must work west coast schedule
- Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
