In this newly created role, the Senior Financial Analyst will spearhead deeper financial analysis of the Front Store business by providing independent and trusted evaluations.
This role will report to and assist the Lead Director of Strategic Finance with supporting our Front Store Merchandising categories.

This individual will build and maintain easily digestible tools and reports that answer complex business questions, promptly respond to ad hoc inquiries, and provide actionable recommendations to leaders through data driven insights.
They should exhibit a proven ability to perform with a high degree of technical skill and accuracy while managing multiple projects. In addition, they will operate with a continuous improvement mindset looking for opportunities to improve process inefficiencies, simplify data visibility, and champion modern BI Tools.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will understand how each workstream impacts our company's strategy as well as the overall Enterprise goals.
The Senior Financial Analyst will work to:
- Manage initiative integration with our broader Front Store category business
- Explore store specific sales results to uncover hidden trends and white space opportunities
- Consult with our Category Merchandising team on financially driven assortment recommendations
- Research the distinct financials surrounding our Store Brands portfolio
- Analyze ad-hoc business cases
- Track ongoing project deliverables across multiple time horizons
- Share findings to our Leadership team to improve results and drive greater insights
- Retail or CPG industry experience with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting/analytics
- 3+ years of Retail ERP systems and Microsoft Excel experience
- 3+ years of experience organizing and managing large data sets in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to balance, coordinate, and execute against multiple competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, pro-actively and be naturally inquisitive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong, credible, and trusted cross-functional relationships.
- Experience providing P&L oversight and analysis is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree is required or equal experience

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
