Position Summary

  • The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities to leverage big data technologies in support of Front Store Consumer Growth with a common set of tools and infrastructure to make analytics faster, more insightful, and more efficient. You will build and architect next-generation Big Data Machine Learning framework. You will design highly scalable and extensible Big Data platforms which enables collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of massive data sets from numerous channels. You will define and maintain data architecture, focusing on applying technology to enable business solutions.

  • 5-6+ years of experience in designing and building frameworks to orchestrate data pipelines and Machine Learning models
  • Languages: SQL, Python
  • Familiarity with building data pipelines, data modeling, architecture & governance concepts
  • Experience operating in distributed environments including cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS etc.)
  • Experience building, launching and maintaining complex analytics pipelines in production
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing ML models and building highly scalable and high availability systems
  • Experience with frameworks for either Machine Learning or NLP (Scikit-Learn, SpaCy, Pytorch, Tenosrflow, Spark NLP)
  • Expertise in specialized areas such as Optimization, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, Probabilistic Inference, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Recommendation Systems.
  • Platforms: Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Tensorflow
  • Languages: Pyspark, Scala
  • Platforms: Snowflake, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Airflow, Azure Cloud, Teradata
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data architecture and governance concepts
  • Proficiency with tools to automate workflow and data pipelines (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins, Control-M)
  • Should be able to aggregate huge amount of data and information from large numbers of sources to discover patterns and features necessary to build machine learning models.
  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions using Machine Learning, Optimization, and other advanced computer science technologies, and own live deployments.
  • Exposure to Healthcare Domain knowledge. Master's in Data Science or Business Analytics
  • Experience with cloud computing environment (ideally Microsoft Azure) and the organizational risks of transitioning from on-prem to cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with scaling workloads on GPUs and deep neural networks
  • Experience with serving models using KFServing etc.,
  • Experience with scaling using Dask
Education
  • B.S. Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Astronomy/Physics, Economics, Math or related fields, MS/MBA preferred
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $201,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
