CVS Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Accounting to join our dynamic Medicare Risk Adjustment Team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on ensuring accurate member eligibility verification and compliance with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) requirements.The Senior Coordinator will support and help lead efforts in verifying member eligibility through portal lookups and outreach to other insurance carriers to obtain coordination of benefits (COB) information. This data is essential for accurate record submission to CMS. The role also includes maintaining financial reports, tracking ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease) status, reconciling payments, and ensuring proper CMS reimbursements.Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct member eligibility verifications via portal lookups and outreach calls.
  • Collect and enter coordination of benefits (COB) data for CMS submissions.
  • Maintain and update assigned financial reports.
  • Assist with ESRD tracking and submission processes.
  • Reconcile payments and report on ESRD special status.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Work independently while following established schedules and procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, data management, or analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data filtering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Medicare programs, ESRD, and MSP (Medicare Secondary Payor).
  • Familiarity with CMS systems such as MARX.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education
  • High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience required.

The typical pay range for this role is:$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
