As a Senior Construction Project Manager you are responsible for successfully managing your assigned Programs/Initiatives to a defined scope, schedule and budget. Senior Construction Project Managers collaborate directly with the Program Sponsor to define scope, develop project plans and create budgets. You will lead the coordination of day-to-day sponsor/stakeholder communications.

In this role your key growth opportunities will include: refining your skills in project management and stakeholder relationship management; following best practices in preparing project plans, budgets, and schedules; issue resolution and negotiation skills; exposure to project requirements across multiple business units, including Category Management, Store Layout, Finance and Scheduling partners, Architecture & Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Merchandising & Construction filed teams; managing and growing relationships with multiple internal business units and third-party vendors.
Oversee construction projects for healthcare facilities, including new construction, renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades.
Manage the administration of healthcare properties owned or leased by the organization by coordinating lease agreements, property maintenance, repairs, and strict compliance with applicable regulations.
Act as a top level specialist, selecting, contracting, and managing external vendors, contractors, and suppliers involved in construction projects and property management.
Develop and manage construction project budgets, ensuring cost estimates, and tracking project expenses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, facility managers, and clinical staff, to gather requirements, ensure alignment, and address operational needs during the construction process.
Coach other colleagues in construction management techniques, building codes, ongoing processes, and regulatory responsibilities.
Utilize the CVS Health and Capital Project Planning/Program Management tools to efficiently maintain Project lists and pipelines, communicate to the teams, establish and measure milestones and deadlines, as appropriate per CVS Health standards and practices
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of Program/Project Management processes and tools
- Familiarity with design and construction best practices and processes
- Ability to excel and lead others in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Ability to adapt to change and shift priorities in order to meet objectives
- Ability to inform and influence stakeholders of various levels
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- PMP certification
- Advanced experience with Web-Based applications such as:
- Tririga
- SAP
- Ariba
- PeopleSoft
Preferred: Bachelor Degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), or Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experiencePay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
