Senior Analyst, Reconciliations Accounting

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accounting Analyst to lead and execute enterprise-wide reconciliation processes for high-volume, high-risk financial accounts. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of bank reconciliations across multiple entities and platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in complex reconciliation environments, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies that could impact financial reporting or operational integrity.

This position requires a high level of precision, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders across accounting, treasury, and operations. The Senior Analyst will also play a key role in enhancing reconciliation controls, improving automation, and supporting audit and compliance efforts.Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bank reconciliations or general accounting, with a focus on high-volume, high-risk accounts.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation best practices, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in reconciliation tools and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, BlackLine, or similar platforms).
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the banking or healthcare industry, with knowledge of industry-specific reconciliation challenges and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with high-volume transaction environments such as lockbox processing, claims payments, or electronic funds transfers (EFTs).
  • Working knowledge of reconciliation automation tools and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues independently.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
