CVS is seeking an operational excellence leader for our North Smithfield, NS/Woonsocket, WN location(s). This role is responsible for being a key member of the team to lead and drive projects and culture to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the operations. The role will and be responsible for the continuous improvement and support improvement of the key KPIs at the facility. Some specific responsibilities will be maintaining labor management systems (LMS), lean implementation, and process design/improvement. Work to be the glue between operations, network optimization, and automation to drive a clear vision together to improve the value stream. Role will be expected to travel 10% to other DCs.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment
  • 1+ years of demonstrated success and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational excellence in manufacturing or warehouse operation
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering/science field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success and experience in Lean Manufacturing Concepts and continuous improvement
  • WMS, ERP, MES, or LMS systems and database structure experience
  • Experience managing projects and very experienced in change management
  • Should be able to work with a multidisciplinary approach in problem solving and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills and working with data/reports.
  • Able to work independently and structurally, as a team player and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated, customer oriented, multi-tasking, having stress management capability
  • Successful at managing multiple priorities and tasks
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in English
  • 1+ years experience with Microsoft Azure Snowflake semantic modelling, SQL, and PowerBI
  • 1+ years experience in WMS, ERP, MES, or LMS systems and database structure
  • 1+ years of demonstrated success in managing projects
  • Certified in standards based time and motion study systems such as MOST and MTM
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
  • Comfortable creating and presenting concepts within team of direct peers as well as senior level management
  • Experience working with a larger corporation and counterparts in other remote locations
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering/business field or 4+ years of demonstrated success and experience in Industrial Engineering, Analytics, Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational excellence in manufacturing or warehouse operation. The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
