Senior Analyst, FP&A (Financial, Planning & Analysis)

The Senior Financial Analyst on the plan finance team will have a key role in supporting the plan's ability to achieve its financial and strategic goals. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with the Sr. Manager and CFO in the monthly close process, budgeting and forecasting, and various analyses that provide valuable insight to the plan leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with the plan leadership to identify and/or evaluate savings initiatives, generate accurate forecast, and handle inquiries related to budget/forecast. The candidate will be responsible for preparing the regulatory reporting and supporting other reporting functions.The candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and must be a naturally inquisitive person. The candidate should have a strong desire to innovate and drive efficiencies. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about the Medicaid business and apply knowledge to analyses that will support the business' ability to grow.
Other responsibilities include by not limited to:
- Taking a key role in creating accurate and timely reporting to State and auditors.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Developing a strong business acumen to help drive performance through cost saving and/or process efficiencies,
- Perform in-depth analysis to help support the business ability to achieve and exceed the strategic goals.
- Partner with Actuary and MEU teams to develop strategy and mitigate risk.
- Monthly Premium billing and reconciliation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Experience with a large ERP financial systems such as Hyperion and SAP.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel with Power Query and/or Power BI, Pivot Tables, AI) or other data platforms (e.g., Tableau, SQL, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred fields of study: Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Medicaid experience preferred, not required.
- Bachelor's degree required.

The typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 - $122,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
