The Senior Analyst, CVS Health Ventures position is a highly analytical role on the growth equity fund that supports the sourcing, development, execution, and ongoing management of investments to advance CVS Health's financial, product, and customer experience goals. As a member of the team, the senior analyst will participate in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities and providing analyses to support initiatives such as developing market landscapes, building detailed financial models, drafting investment memos, and streamlining processes to optimize the portfolio company growth in coordination with our market development, venture fund, and fund strategy & operations teams. This individual will also be expected to support the portfolio of existing relationships and assist in developing new insights, quantitative analyses, and investment perspectives.The ideal candidate for this role thrives in fast-paced, strategic environment and can fulfill the following job responsibilities:

  • Lead financial modeling of prospective equity investments, as well as build or manage a three-statement financial model
  • Construct and build consensus around deal evaluation materials that will go through investment committee review
  • Organize and help to manage a dynamic deal pipeline comprising of both direct company investments and fund investments
  • Work cross-functionally within the Ventures team to prepare high-impact executive communication materials
  • Project management of administrative and operational processes (e.g. CRM, documentation) within the growth equity fund and in coordination with other parts of the team
  • Coordination and support of portfolio company work
  • Support administrative functions such as organizing conferences, coordinating meetings, and managing related logistics and communications
Required Qualifications:
  • 2 years of professional experience (excluding internships)
  • 1+ years of experience in investment banking, growth equity, corporate strategy, venture capital, and/or private equity
  • 1+ years of experience with financial modeling and data analysis, including proficiency with Microsoft
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and supporting strategic relationships and/or investments (e.g., direct investments, convertible notes, fund investments, etc.)
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence across functions at all levels of an organization
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modeling and data analysis, valuation, and investment due diligence including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience developing compelling presentations that distill complex data, market trends, and investment insights into clear, concise, and actionable messaging for senior executives including familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Validated project management skills with an emphasis on integrating multiple work outputs into a unified deliverable
  • Highly organized and able to provide positive leadership across multiple work streams in a fast-paced, complex working environment
  • Demonstrates high level of independent judgment and proactivity
  • Demonstrated collaborative work style with ability to work and across diverse teams
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required

The typical pay range for this role is:$79,310.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
