This position is responsible for overseeing pricing for Aetna Small Group ACA markets as well as monitoring of financial results for the segment.• Contribute to achievement of profitability and membership goals by acting as a strategic partner with business partners
• Devise responsible pricing strategies to help grow membership. Recommend decisions logically based on data and business acumen that weighs the pros and cons and considers calculated risks
• Navigate several data points, possibly contradictory, and rationalize recommended course of action, recognizing risks and opportunities. Work with different areas to understand those data points.
• Coordinate the pricing and filing work required for several states
• Monitor financials for several states and communicate results with business partners
• Manage forecasting process for the segment, coordinating with multiple teams across actuarial and finance
• Set and manage priorities to meet pre-established deadlines; act independently with limited guidance from supervisor
• Management of several team members, including day to day responsibilities and professional development.

• Excellent verbal and written communication to various audiences to establish strong relationships and to effectively convey observations and recommendations
• Cultivate relationships with local regulators and negotiate terms of rate filings and approvals; communicate both in response to objections and proactively as neededRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree along with 5+ years actuarial experience
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) required
- Prior healthcare experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work with large and detailed data sets
- Strong communication skills
- Solid technical/analytical skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications

The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
