And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Quality Engineer to develop and execute software tests and quality assurance (QA) to identify software problems and root causes. Duties include: analyze user needs and design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for manual or automated testing to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability; determine feasibility of software architecture and prepare technical design documentation; implement quality assurance strategy and planning, effort estimation, and risk assessment and mitigation; develop test plans and assess performance data, including unit and integration testing; develop and execute end-to-end test reporting scenarios for data warehousing environments and ETL processes; document software defects using bug tracking systems, report defects to teams, and coordinate defect review and resolution; evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality software products; confirm that testing approach, data, and execution meets the project objectives; direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Multiple positions.Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer and Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Software development lifecycle (SDLC); Software development best practices; Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; JMeter and Selenium; Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) testing; Contributing to large-scale applications development, data science, or data analytics projects; Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy; and Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives.Pay Range: $86819.00/year to $140000.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
