As Python Software Engineer, you are responsible for leading the techno-functional impact analysis, design & development activities associated with development of enterprise-wide applications. Strong technical, functional, and interpersonal skills are key to perform this role successfully.

In this position you will partner and collaborate with the engineering manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers to effectively translate the business requirements and architectural designs into engineering components. You will also be involved throughout the entire development life cycle of a product and must be able to deliver an efficient solution, as well as identify and properly mitigate any risks to the product before deployment to production.Roles & Responsibilities:

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communications skills and exceptional follow through. Some of the responsibilities include:
  • Proven experience as a full-stack Developer in understanding business requirements and translating into engineering solutions.
  • Hands on experience in writing, debugging, and reviewing code, and producing thoroughly tested, defect-free features.
  • Should have good experience on how to build, test, and deploy code to run on cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of advance object-oriented design and design patterns. Strong background on Python is must.
  • Worked with cross-functional team, using SAFe agile practices.
  • Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of back end software development experience.
  • 1+ years of Python, Java and NodeJS with related frameworks.
  • 1+ years of Cloud Experience; preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3 and RDS
  • 1+ year of experience working in an Agile-based development environment using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Strong experience with monitoring and observability and building scalable services
  • Understanding of various database solutions (SQL, NoSQL) including schema design and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience developing Airflow/DAG .
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to product/services development, cloud-based platforms is highly preferred (i.e. Azure, GCP, AWS)
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Professional experience with PostGres SQL on AWS
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:$79,310.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
