The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of related projects that align with specific program goals and objectives. This role involves ensuring that these projects collaborate effectively to deliver broader organizational benefits and achieve strategic outcomes. The Program Manager will be accountable for coordinating project activities and managing interdependencies to optimize performance. Additionally, the Program Manager will implement a standardized approach to project oversight, guiding initiatives from initiation through to completion. Adherence to formal processes and tools for managing resources, budgets, risks, and changes is essential to ensure timely project delivery in accordance with established specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong executive presence and demonstrate the ability to keep leadership informed of progress, interdependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.

  • Manages portfolio of projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications.
  • Acts as a top-level specialist on project and program planning and develops comprehensive program plans that encompass objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Applies highly developed program management methodologies to evaluate interdependencies and optimize resource allocation across the program portfolio.
  • Consults with senior leadership and stakeholders on program achievements, challenges, and strategies to ensure sustained program support.
  • Monitors program deliverables to ensure they meet internal quality standards and comply with relevant healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Adapts internal quality control measures to drive continuous improvements in program outcomes and processes.
  • Advises on project management and program evaluation tools that assess performance and capture lessons learned to optimize future programs.
  • Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes.
  • Adapts project and program plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and reinforce organizational standards.
  • Applies highly developed knowledge of change and risk management principles to identify and mitigate risk.
  • Coaches junior-level project on how to utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and analyze project and program outcomes.
  • Coordinates knowledge sharing among project teams to highlight success stories and improve project and program management practices through insights.
  • Creates a continuous improvement plan for the project and program department to enhance delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Utilizes data visualization tools and techniques to present project and program data in a visually appealing easily understandable format.
  • Consolidates project data into clear and concise reports for executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years relevant work experience.
  • Adept at problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
  • Adept at business intelligence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Bachelor's degreePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
