This role sits at the intersection of product management, engineering, and enterprise data strategy. The Product Manager will help manage backlogs, partner with engineers and architects, and ensure our database platforms are scalable, automated, and secure. Operating in a highly collaborative environment, you will translate business and application needs into product roadmaps that enable relia ble database services across AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, and on-premises platforms. - Accountable to drive product strategy , vision, and backlog management for enterprise database services.
- Use customer feedback, analytics, and data-driven insights to inform product direction.
- Define and manage metrics to measure the success of database service initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to optimize how applications use and share data across large, diverse populations.
- Engage in validation activities to ensure product strategies address customer and business needs.
- Break down complex problems into actionable tasks and prioritize backlogs for database services.
- Support automation, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to improve service scalability and reliability.
- Ensure successful execution of standards and governance requirements for database platforms.
- Practical experience with data-intensive applications where data is shared across large and diverse user populations.
- Familiarity with APIs and integration approaches across at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, or on-premises).
- Working knowledge of automation and DevOps practices that support reliable database delivery.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, security, and business teams.
- Experience in creating and maintaining product roadmaps tied to customer and enterprise outcomes.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management or related roles supporting databases, data platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Solid technical understanding of database platforms and data services, with familiarity in how applications consume and share data across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and build alignment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decisions.
- Exposure to AI/ML data workloads and use cases.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Background in database migration, modernization, and performance optimization projects.
- Knowledge of multiple database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-managed services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Full timePay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $185,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
