As consumer expectations and the market in which we operate change, it is important that we continuously refresh our strategy and rapidly explore new ideas and sources of growth.As a Manager on the Pharmacy Growth Strategy Team, you will be a part of a nimble team working to drive forward new ideas and place strategic bets shaping the future of one of CVS's core businesses. You will support Retail leaders by driving forward the vision for our business, partnering with various teams to support their strategic priorities, and assessing, incubating, and executing on net new ideas designed to better serve the needs of our patients.You will execute key tasks and be a valuable thought partner on strategy projects ranging from short sprints on certain subjects or in response to leadership asks to long-term cross-functional engagements with other teams. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Pharmacy Strategy and work closely with the Director on the team. As a key contributor to the team, you will lead analytical exercises, business opportunity sizing, secondary and primary research, and slide-based story telling. You will help the Senior Manager on the team stay on top of market trends and identify new opportunities. This role will entail many opportunities for developing strategic frameworks, analytical thinking, Excel/PowerPoint skills, and how to influence other teams.

Your key job responsibilities will be:
- Support the Senior Manager in developing strategic perspectives and acting in our role as the voice of the Retail Pharmacy business
- Drive day-to-day work including analyses, opportunity sizing, secondary research, primary research, and execution on internal/external partnerships and pilots
- Contribute to the creation of executive materials on critical strategy initiatives to support senior-level decision making
- Partner cross-functionally on strategy projects with teams within Pharmacy and beyond
- Proactive & Strategic Thinker: You take initiative, see the big picture, align solutions with business goals, and anticipate future challenges
- Analytical & Results-Oriented: You enjoy breaking down complex problems, using data-driven decision-making, and delivering results under pressure.
- Strong Communicator & Collaborator: You communicate clearly, listen actively, build trust, and work well with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptable & Organized: You thrive in change, learn quickly, manage time effectively meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry in roles that involve strategic problem solving and new business or product development
- Experience in healthcare services (e.g., pharmacy, hospitals/health systems, primary care)
- 2+ years of experience in management/strategy consulting
- Experience in pharmacy
- Master's Degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, Finance)

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
