Assists in ensuring that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer both efficiently and safely.

What you will do
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable federal and states laws, rules, and regulations.
- Advances a team of direct/indirect reports focusing on optimizing colleague performance management, talent development, and maximizing team and individual engagement.
- Keeps up-to date on the pharmacy production staff to ensure proper and timely order entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Acts as leading authority on appropriateness of therapy through prospective drug utilization review including assessment of high-risk medications, allergies, adverse indications or interactions, and other potentially adverse outcomes.
- Identifies new methods of medication storage, stability, recalls and administration requirements to maintain the company standard of organization.
- Innovates training programs for all individuals employed by the pharmacy who will assist in the practice of pharmacy based on individual state requirements.
- Guides other colleagues through consultation, mentoring, and collaborative leadership to build depth of capability, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Degree required.

The typical pay range for this role is:$56.73 - $90.14This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
