Pharmacist - Compounding (Specialty Pharmacy)

As a Compounding Pharmacist, you'll work with advanced technology to compound specialized and complex therapies in a clean room environment. You'll apply your clinical expertise to ensure seamless medication preparation and delivery directly to patients' homes. - Directly oversees pharmacy support personnel in the appropriate compounding, packaging, labeling, and inventory management of compounded nonsterile and sterile products
- Complies with cleanroom policies in accordance with USP 795, 797, or USP 800 for safe compounding practices, maintaining all quality assurance and quality control documentation
- Assists in training and orientation of new employees as requested by supervisor or designee

-Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
-Active licensure as a practicing pharmacist in Illinois
-Familiar with accreditation standards, State and Federal regulations.
-Ability to work effectively with minimal direction and as part of interdisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
-At least 6 months of previous compounding experience
-Sterile Compounding for Aseptic Technique (SCAT) Training Course Completion
-Specialty/PBM experience
-Licenses in multiple states or ability to obtain a plus
Education
Degree in pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy and must hold a current license as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Illinois. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$55.53 - $93.08This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
