The Outside Sales Development Associate is responsible for engaging in lead generation and qualification activities that result in viable new sales opportunities within designated regions. This role will be a member of a market-based team and work in partnership with the Sales Support Specialist and Sales Executive. They will be responsible for accelerating growth and sustaining performance in high-potential markets.

The Sales Development Associate leverages the Omnicare Value Proposition to capture viable leads. They develop initial relationships with prospects to create viable leads through a combination of networking, web-inquiries, onsite visits, appointments, and cold calling. In this process, they create a solid first impression of Omnicare services and solutions.What you will do:
  • Spend 3-4 days traveling locally in the field each week.
  • Conduct 30-40 in-person prospect visits each week, along with additional activity metrics, such as phone calls and/or emails.
  • Consistently drive new opportunities into the pipeline.
  • Attend and conduct prospective client meetings, both initial and follow-up.
  • Assist the Sales Executive in working deals through the pipeline.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, specifically selling a service.
  • Proficiency with desktop software applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must reside in Nebraska, Kansas, or Iowa.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time within Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, specifically selling a service.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed both personal and team sales goals.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Long-term care experience.
Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years of relevant experience + high school diploma or GED). Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $73,032.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
