Responsible for the timely and accurate picking of retail store order using case labels and verbal instructions while selecting conveyable/non-conveyable case and/or piece quantities from designated warehouse locations.QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):

Skills:
- Ability to read, write and count accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate and be certified as an Operator of a Pallet Transporter.
- Ability to work in a seasonally warm or cool environment.
- Physical Demands: This position has a; constant medium heavy lifting requirement (over 20 lbs - 67-100%), occasional very heavy lifting requirement (75 lbs - 0-33%). Other physical activities include Constant bending/reaching/stooping (67-100%); constant walking/standing/climbing (67-100%).
- Work Environment: Warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment and conveyors.
- Sign on to assignments and out for designated times throughout the day as well as out for day.
- Process orders for non-conveyable cases/pieces for retail stores.
- Upon completion of case label order and/or when pallet is full (height and dimension), mark store number on all sides of pallet. Secure the pallet with tape/stretch wrap and attach a pallet tag. Mark the pallet tag showing store number, case total for the pallet and lane to be staged.
- Transport completed pallet to staging area for delivery to shipping floor.
- Call credits into Group Leader as they occur. Fill out Delay Sheet properly.
- Select case from front to back, left to right, and one layer at a time. Stack empty and broken pallets in designated area pick level.
- Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.
- Select conveyable quantities from designated warehouse locations, using batch pick labels.
- Affix label to case and place on conveyor.
- Fill out Delay sheets correctly. Turn into Supervisor at or before end of shift.
- Dispose of shrink wrap and paper into proper receptacle.
- Do not stair step pallets.
- Place damaged full case (crush, broken, soiled, leaking, cut) on designated areas for Inventory Control disposition.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervision/Management.
- Dispose of all cardboard and slip sheets in bailer while placing non-paper material (plastic, tape, etc.) in trashcans located in aisles.
- Place damaged full case and/or piece quantities (crushed, broken, soiled, leaking, cut) in designated areas for Inventory Control disposition.
- Ability to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management.
