Network Support Analyst

The Network Analyst is a critical member of our retail network operations team at CVS. In this role, you will ensure the reliability and performance of our network connectivity across 9,500 retail locations by monitoring the ServiceNow ticket queue, rapidly diagnosing issues, and coordinating resolution with broadband carriers. You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive root cause analysis and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). You will be actively engaged with our SD-WAN technology and management of switches installed at each store. Required Qualifications
- Technical Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in network operations or a related technical support role.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting, particularly within a retail or enterprise setting.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies; familiarity with Juniper 128T is preferred.
- Operational Skills:
- Proven ability to effectively monitor and manage incident ticket queues using ServiceNow or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing, diagnosing, and resolving network performance issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to participate in and contribute to root cause analysis sessions and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing MTTR.
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, broadband carriers, and other key stakeholders.
- Strong team-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach to network incidents.
- Certifications:
- Relevant network certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, or other industry-recognized credentials.
- Advanced Technical Skills:
- Prior experience working in large-scale enterprise or retail network environments.
- Understanding of Juniper switch configurations and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and a service management framework will be an added advantage.
- Collaborative Experience:
- Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary technical teams and external vendors/broadband carriers.
- Exposure to projects that required extensive cross-departmental collaboration to mitigate network issues on a large scale.
- Degree Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- Alternative Experience:
- Candidates with equivalent practical and hands-on experience in network operations, coupled with industry certifications, will also be considered.

The typical pay range for this role is:$21.10 - $44.99This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
