And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Systems Engineering to design and deliver efficient technical solutions in furtherance of our technical initiatives relating to Virtual, Physical, and ESX infrastructure, including software and tools to support Operations and Engineering functions. Partner and collaborate with software development manager, business analysts, architects, quality assurance, business partners, developers, and project managers in order to deliver change and innovation into our systems and user experience. Work hands-on with Virtual Infrastructure, OS, VSAN, VMware, VRA, VROPS, Vcenter, hyperconverged SDDC, HP and Dell hardware, including diagnose and remediate issues affecting support and delivery in a dynamic environment. Provision, maintain, and support servers, applying tools, system patches, and security standards. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality system platform. Support new technological foundations and create/implement/maintain technology systems that align to the company's strategic goals as well as overarching enterprise strategy. Create processes for systems, tools, and technologies in response to the needs of internal stakeholders. Respond, identify, and remediate any issues affecting virtual infrastructure support, delivery or performance that impacts clients. Support daily management, incident, and change requests for server support, provisioning, and assistance in multiple environments. Partner with application owners, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range technical solutions that meet business requirements. Identify areas of technology systems that can be automated, and develop those automation technologies with an elevated sense of urgency. Perform industry research to keep senior-level stakeholders and teams apprised of the competitive landscape, and to support the further development of the company's technology systems. Apply deep technical background and experience building excellent user-focused solutions and who will drive innovation to deliver cutting edge solutions. Coordinate architectural growth and development. Additional expertise in Zerto replication, Vxrail, NSX, and Public Cloud technologies. Work in a fluid environment, defining and owning engineering priorities that adapt to our larger goals, communicating effectively with business partners. Telecommuting available. -Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Configuration and maintenance of IIB/MQ Objects; Integration of Bus related issues and design related Issues; Support UAT and production, making regression and sanitation tests during and after deployment, testing programs, UNIX/Linux shell scripting on UAT environment; Troubleshoot runtime issues associated with brokers and databases, and host applications; Raise a PMR with IBM for the issues which have been faced on Production Environment; Contact IBM regularly (once every week) for all the open PMR's and ongoing issues; Analysis of FDC files and Errors and fault diagnosis; SSL configuration of Integration Bus/MQ; Database configuration with WebSphere DataPower; Provide support to HACMP server; Test and analyze developed flow for performance impacts and suggest measures for improved application efficiency; Solve production related issues/queries pertaining to design and Message broker component failure/diagnosis; and Monitor the middleware and check error logs, failover queues, and system logs.Pay Range: $132870.00/year to $200000.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
