Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (IC)

The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis performs economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation, and investments. Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management. Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, and other areas of business. Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning. Also, creates financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.
What you will do
- Collaborates with other departments to understand their financial needs, gather relevant data, and assist in the creation of financial plans.
- Facilitates complex financial analysis to support decision-making and provide insights to senior management, examining financial data, identifying trends, evaluating financial performance, and preparing reports to communicate findings.
- Analyzes variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, assessing the financial impact of different initiatives, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Performs financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis under minimal supervision.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting packages and formal business reviews, and participates in leadership presentations.
- Communicates financial summaries and complex dashboard information to management, executives, and stakeholders.
- Collaborates internally and externally with treasury, business strategy, investor relations, and enterprise financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in support of various financial initiatives.
- Identifies and improves financial planning and analysis (FP&A) inefficiencies, implements automation or standardization initiatives, and enhances the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Interviews, selects, and develops staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis.

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
