The primary mission statement of the Physical Security team is to protect CVS Health's assets, of people, places, and property. As a member of the Enterprise Security Operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out the mission statement across a multi-state geography. (Illinois and Minnesota)

You will provide strategic alignment and oversight for assigned locations and have areas of responsibility for corporate offices and dispensing locations. The team manages or supports regulatory audit & compliance, physical security assessments, crisis response, guard force management, systems design and integration, providing safety training to colleagues, construction project management, special event security and a vast assortment of field investigations supporting; Workplace Violence, Robbery, Ethics/HR complaints etc. The team provides in-person and virtual safety training to colleagues.The role reports to the Sr. Manager of the Non-Retail Enterprise Security Operations Team who will provide tactical guidance in support of driving a larger strategic objective.1. Oversee site security, operations, and activities to ensure protection of corporate based employees, physical and information assets, while maintaining optimal use of personnel and equipment.
2. Review policies, procedures, programs, and projects, including access control, video, and alarm to ensure uniform security standards for CVS locations.
3. Ensure physical security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments are completed in an approved cadence and effectively manage security vendors and budget management and participate in compliance and audit inspections
4. Manage investigations, programs, procedures for monitoring and mitigating known suspected threats or vulnerabilities to CVS Health employees and assets.
5. Conduct ethical investigations to ensure colleague safety and security,
6. Prepare and file investigative reports using information obtained from investigations.
5. Perform protective security details in support of special events.
6. Establish and maintain appropriate liaisons with Federal, State, and local law enforcement and protection agencies within the area of responsibility to ensure appropriate government agencies are knowledgeable of and responsive to the security needs of the company
7. Perform in-person and virtual training to colleagues in the areas of safety and security.Required Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate security with experience as a direct manager OR applicable years of experience in law enforcement/military.
-Experience in staff management.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent fiscal management skills.
-Organization skills to simultaneously manage multiple priorities and projects.
-Ability to successfully navigate in an unpredictable environment supporting teams during emergency or crisis situations.
-After hours and weekend work may be required during emergency situations.
-Operate in high stress fast-paced environments.
-Basic understanding of physical security technology components.
-Be field-based, travel to the states of Illinois and Minnesota required (approximately 40%).

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
