Manager, Business Process Engineering (Individual Contributor)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager to support process engineering efforts within the Connected PBM Ecosystem. This role is critical to building and maintaining an end-to-end view of our business architecture, user experience (UX/UI), and operational processes. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for driving transformation through process excellence.Your duties will include:Process Mapping & Optimization
- Lead the mapping of all processes within the Connected PBM Ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business architecture and UX/UI strategies.
- Evaluate current processes using the DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Oversee the implementation of new business processes and ensure seamless integration across workstreams.
- Support the development of capability models, customer journey maps, and value stream maps to articulate business value and inform solution design.
- Collaborate with business architects, IT leads, and solution owners to ensure process engineering aligns with strategic goals and technical architecture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to help team members grow and excel.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business and DDAT teams to drive alignment and engagement.
- Deliver training and support for new program implementations and process changes.
- Develop and maintain a cadence of proactive meetings with stakeholders to review operational metrics, business deliverables, and new opportunities.

- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, business architecture, or operations management.
- Proven experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC).
- Strong understanding/experience with UX/UI principles and their integration into business processes.
- Experience communicating and engaging with both leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience working in PBM or healthcare ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable process designs.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to drive clarity in cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
