Lead Solution Architect

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in legacy systems, modern cloud technologies, and emerging AI capabilities to help design and guide scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in IT architecture or solution design roles.
- Demonstrated experience in the healthcare payer industry, including familiarity with claims processing, eligibility, and provider systems.
- Strong mainframe experience, including integration with modern platforms.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in enterprise solutions.
- Technical Skills:
- Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- API design and integration
- Data architecture and governance
- DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Security and compliance in healthcare IT
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution architecture aligned with strategic goals.
- Design and document end-to-end solutions that integrate legacy systems with modern platforms.
- Provide architectural oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend AI and cloud-based tools to enhance business capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
- Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data standards
- Experience with Low Code/No Code and Rules Framework tools
- Experience with Appian Vendor platform
- Experience with ETL Tools such as Ab Initio

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
The typical pay range for this role is:$118,450.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
