Individual contributor rolePosition SummaryThe purpose of this position is to develop partnerships with strategic providers to ensure Aetna has market leading discount and cost positions and high value, competitive networks. The goals of these networks are to improve the health of our members, effectively manage costs, and enable Aetna to grow membership. To accomplish this, the incumbent will need to build strong relationships with providers as well as develop and execute contracting strategies that yield market leading discount and costs positions for Aetna as well as value-based relationships that improve the quality and financial performance of Aetna's networks for its members. This position also supports cost savings initiatives, operational improvement, sales efforts, as well as mentoring and developing other team members.Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 8 years related experience in provider contracting and network development, command of financials and pricing strategies, and/or similar disciplines.
- Experience negotiating and managing large hospital and health system contracts.
- Proven ability building strong provider relationships
- Strong executive reporting and analytical capabilities; external presentation development and execution skills; excellent team collaborator and cross-functional leader; ability to create innovative solutions and problem solve.
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Development of value-based relationships and sales experience (e.g., presenting network options and value at sales finalist presentations).
- Experience with providers in Nevada
- Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of professional work experience and education.
The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
