We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Director of Sales & Account Management to oversee a high-performing team of Account Executives and People Leaders. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth, delivering financial outcomes, and ensuring exceptional client service across our self-funded and insured medical & pharmacy portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring deep leadership experience, a strong sales background, and trusted relationships with consultants and customers.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Executives focused on strategic client engagement and financial performance.
  • Manage two People Leaders who oversee Account Managers and Onsite Customer Service Representatives.
  • Manage four dedicated wellness consultants who report directly to one of our customers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and market dynamics.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and insightful financial reporting and forecasting for self-funded medical and pharmacy plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across account management and service delivery.
  • Represent the organization in client meetings, industry events, and strategic planning sessions.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience managing sales teams and people leaders.
  • Strong understanding of self-funded financials for medical and pharmacy benefits.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining both consultant and customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering measurable business results.
  • 7-9 years directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time in role.
  • Health & Life license required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with market dynamics and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence cross-functional teams.

The typical pay range for this role is:$105,000.00 - $231,132.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.Our people fuel our future.
