The Lead Director, FP&A Individual Medicare Advantage plays a critical leadership role in coordinating strategic financial planning for the Individual products including General Enrollment and Special Needs Plans. This role serves as a key business partner to Medicare leadership providing high-impact financial forecasting, insights and analytics. The Lead Director will lead a team of finance professionals and work cross-functionally to ensure detailed financial modeling and analysis for membership, revenue, and benefit costs, allowing for full gross profit visibility for the largest products in the Medicare segment.   • Lead membership and gross profit financial forecasting and budgeting activities for the Individual lines of business including General Enrollment, Special Needs Plans and Fully Integrated Dual Eligible plans.
  • Partner with Medicare Leadership to align financial goals with strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Actuarial, Accounting, Finance and Business Performance teams to ensure execution, transparency, and alignment in financial planning cycles.
  • Oversee the execution of the Individual financial modeling, inputs, assumptions, and timelines.
  • Communicate complex financial data in a clear, concise manner to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the completion of Individual FP&A materials requested for senior leader review during forecast & planning cycle.
  • Drive better real-time insights including deeper analytics on gross margin trends and drivers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • 10 + years of healthcare insurance experience
  • At least 3 years of financial analysis experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Hyperion

Medicare experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
