Lead Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

The Lead Director Financial Planning and Analysis provides strategic leadership and oversight for financial planning and analysis functions by managing a team of financial analysts, coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, providing guidance on financial strategy, and collaborating with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives. Ensures accurate financial reporting, drives process improvements, and contributes to strategic planning and risk assessment.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles for Revenue and Cost of Sales (COS), leading cross-functional communication with Sales and Operations to gain alignment on key drivers and assumptions, ensuring an accurate, defensible, and timely plan.
- Partner with Operations leadership to develop capacity and production forecast assumptions; translate operational KPI metrics into actionable financial guidance, identifying opportunities for gross margin improvement and mitigating risks.
- Spearhead the modernization of the FP&A function by identifying and implementing process improvements, leveraging AI and advanced reporting tools to foster greater efficiency, enhance data integrity, and elevate the strategic value of our financial analysis.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 3+, focusing on active coaching and professional development to advance their careers.
- Building the underlying financial models that inform strategic investments, with a clear focus on assessing ROI and other key return metrics to ensure capital is allocated to the highest-value opportunities
- Drive business strategy and performance by communicating compelling, data-backed insights to the leadership team, influencing resource allocation and key initiatives to ensure financial objectives are achieved

10+ years of financial planning and analysis experience.
5+ years of healthcare finance or operations experience.
5+ years of experience with Anaplan, SQL, and/or snowflake.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required or equivalent years of related experience.Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
