We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in the PBM industry to join our team as the Lead Director, Financial Change Order Connected Ecosystem. In this role, you will lead a team of employees, including five direct reports, dedicated to delivering value to Caremark's highly visible connected ecosystem automation projects for the Financial Change Order team. You will be working with technical support team members, data engineers, and project managers to lead the end-to-end solution for the Connected Ecosystem and Financial Change Order process automation.The financial change order team owns the rebate guarantee adjustment process to capture client-initiated plan design, formulary and/or UM changes that could impact our ability to meet previously agreed upon rebate guarantees. This team provides analytical and consultative support to our underwriting team, sales account team, clients and/or clients' auditors as needed.

This team also supports rebate exposure mitigation efforts by working closely with client P&L, client profitability team, UW team and trade where needed.You will oversee the project of the connected ecosystem from concept to solutioning, along with leading a team responsible for rebate guarantee adjustments for select Caremark client-initiated changes. You will also oversee the rebate guarantee adjustment tool development and provide guidance, assumptions, and testing support to the Rebate Credit Tools Development Manager under your leadership.Additionally, you will pull and analyze large sets of data to support rebate guarantee adjustments and variance analysis, to support client-facing conversations to gain clients' alignment on methodology and assumptions used in our rebate guarantee adjustment. You will represent Caremark - Financial Change Order team and are expected to inspire trust and collaboration with our key clients to review and accept the proposed rebate guarantee adjustments driven by market events.The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of complex PBM financials, data, and operations. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with external clients and internal stakeholders and have experience in managing data automation projects and/or be comfortable leading technical support team members.The candidate should have the ability to develop and drive solutions with a high level of independence in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.To be a candidate for this role, you will possess the following:

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years' experience leading and developing teams.
  • 7+ years' experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role.
  • Experience pulling large data sets in financial analysis and data analytics tools, such as SAS, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASA/FSA preferred.
  • Experience with forecasting and modeling projections.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific rebate practices and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
